How much can I expect to make if I take a job with Enterprise’s Management Training Program?

I am interested in this program and will only be applying if I can relocate to chicago. How much can I expect to make in this position in chicago?

Not exactly sure about Chicago but in Baltimore starting was 33,500 IF you get promoted to manager’s assistant and pass your MQI successfully within 6 months. In Philadelphia it is pretty close but more toward the 35 mark. I see others posting about starting at 35-40 but I would not count on it. You do still have the opportunity for overtime (which you do work so just prepare), car sales referrals (here if you tell someone that we sell our cars and they buy you automatically make an extra 200, my coworker made 6g in those alone), and recruiting (in baltimore it was usually a cruise and 500 cash, in philadelphia you simply get the 1,000). The base here is a little lower than other places but if you want it, there are places to get it from.

Once you get to Managers assistant you are open to go to Assistant manager. The only difference is MA’s can be at any place but each branch (store) usually has only one Asst. Mgr. (they are the ones who are eligible for more money and commission.

But don’t forget some of the perks. For me it really helped to know that I could literally move ANY where in the US, Ireland, UK and so on (including now Alamo and National Rentals) with me living in a military family when I started.

Hope it helps.

Apx $35,000. Too many people have applied in the last year. It has pushed salaries lower. If you are a success at the new location, you will quickly go to $55,000..
