Assume that you are a Human Resource consultant and have been hired by ABC Company to train its employees on leadership. Design a three day trainign program for this topic.

If there are many of them, just find a place and play paintball assasins for three days. After each fight, find out the best shooters and give them higher ranks to lead other people. With higher rank, the leaders will have the power to distribute supplies, which forces their soldiers listen to them. One more thing, remember to let everyone write down anything they have learnt through these fights.
Military is the best place to learn about leadership and management.

My boyfriend is going to fort knox Kentucky for the army leadership training course this summer. I was wondering if he would be able to bring his cell phone and if and when he would be able to call home. I also was looking for a packing list and more details about the course. I basically don’t know anything about it.

Depends on which course he is taking. The vast majority of Army schools excluding basic training and most AITs allow cell phone use after training is over for the day. If he is going to WLC it may be more strict. Considering there are several leadership courses you would need to get more information about which one it is to figure out what he can and can’t do there or what his packing list will be.

Some guidance on this would be great so i don’t waste my money..

The projectmanagementusa34.org was created 18 days a go and is registered using a "Protected Domain Services" registration proxy to conceal the actual owner info. this domain and site may be a built for a single event site and alone doesn’t weigh in on the credibility of the business, the contact phone number provided on the site may be the best credibility checking means, if your good at phone "interviews".

The main? site to which emails are sent, projectmanagementusa.org is 6 months old, using the same Denver based registration proxy. It has a calander of 14 planned events.

There is no BBB rating for the business (but lists the proxy address on a page)
http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-reviews/adult-and-continuing-education/american-project-management-in-denver-co-90142500

I could find nothing on the internet the reinforces the credibility of the business, if they only mentioned the names of their personal and their credentials ion the About Us page.

I would acquaint myself with the recognized certification bodies that would presumably have certified the certification trainers.

This has the look of a paid promotional mention
Will that make up for not having experience? If not, where do I get experience?

That’ll definitely go a long way and most will considered that absolutely the same as having experience. You may be able to call around and get some clerical experience through volunteer work. Many charitable organizations are looking for people to answer phones and do other clerical work so you may be able to get some experience this way while you’re searching for a job.

There are differing opinions on the matter. I had the fortune, or misfortune depending on how you look at it, of working for a sergeant major who had served under Colonel Tony Herbert when I was in the Army. Herbert’s philosophy was that training should be done under conditions worse then combat. For example, Herbert once dynamited a frozen river then had his troops swim across it. The idea being that if a soldier could function in such situations, then they’d have fewer problems functioning under better conditions while being shot at. The idea has some logic to it of course, but it makes your training time a miserable experience. On the other hand, I’m still alive.

I’m 40, based in E.Sussex and having been signed off my long term job would like to use this opportunity to retrain as a plasterer. I have no idea what’s available re funded government courses/retraining schemes but most of them seem to be aimed at young people. I don’t want to spend ages as an apprentice or at college as am keen to get back to work.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know that the government are doing a big push at the moment to retrain people via apprenticeships etc, although you do not think it is what your looking for perhaps if you at least look at whats available then you can be sure.

I just came back from Sutherland Models. The lady there, Lynn, saw potential in me because I’m good with the camera, good body frame, huge feet meaning I could grow to be even taller than I am now… She told me that all starters have to go through a Training course that costs (when you add everything up) $1000 for 10 weeks. Do all agencies require this? I honestly can’t afford this but I still want to model, and could.

DON’T DO IT. if an agency offers you any sort of "training course" or introduction that costs money, they are a scam. they. are. a. scam. don’t pay it. no no no no. get out of there and to a reputable modeling agency. they should be paying you, not the other way around.

To answer your question, yes, these courses are available. Interested military personnel apply for the course they’d like to take and go through a selection process. If you’re picked you take the course, if not, you try again next year.
