Btw, Obama didn’t need a teleprompter when he was invited to the GOP House Retreat (1-29-10). They thought they could easily belittle him right after the loss is Mass. true but your not …
true but your not just skirting the issue of technique but politics. there is a major difference between Sara Palin needing a few notes and the president needing 2* prompter so that he doesn’t have to look away from his speech at any time. no mater what you may think about technique i don’t like it when the president of my country comes with a prepared robotic speech that has no real feeling to it because its taken days of calculation to make.

The difference is the audience doesn’t see words on a prompter, that’s why it is effective. people see words written on your hand and it makes the speaker look like a 7th grader. FYI, it’s never slander to speak the truth.

I am “worried” about it because so many of my clients worry about how to remember what to say when giving a presentation. I think yo are right that Palin would have been better off with a card–soemthing i reccomend.

why are you so worried about how messy her hand is???? i mean who cares? if it was written on a card would they make any less of a big deal about it? no they wouldn’t. i know you aren’t so much talking politically as you are technically as a speaker and telling others how to speak. but its not really an issue i care about when there are more important things happening.

Sara Palin did not right here speech on her hand. not much room on the palm of your hand to wright a speech now is there? she wrote a few key notes to remind herself the basics of what she wanted to say up there. which is common practice. i have seen the pictures of her hand. there are like 4 words written there. obama on the other hand reads EVERY SINGLE WORD OFF HIS PROMPTER. there is a major difference dont slander someone for writing a few words on her palm to keep the speech focused
