How to become a Corporate Jet Flight Attendant?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 1 Comment

Basically, I have been a Flight Attendant for 6 months and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about getting a position on corporate jets and what the job was like? I had someone give me their card for a corporate training center in Philadelphia but I lost it in the shuffle of passenger lists, connecting flight/gate info, weight & balance forms….lol.

Since you have been trained as a flight attendant in the past, you do not need to to attend a training center to learn the basics, thus you don’t even know what airframe you would work if you land a job. What you need to do is contact the corporate carrier you wish or like to work for, apply for the position(use their website), and if they accept you, they will either train you or send you to a training facility to be trained on the particular airframe they have.
It’s just like the commercial carriers……..

Any thoughts/comments on Ron Legrand courses/seminars?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 1 Comment

I was wondering if anyone has attended one of Ron Legrand’s real estate live training seminars/courses? I’m specifically asking about the course "5 Day Quick Turn Real Estate School"? I’m usually weary about these kinds of courses, it does cost a couple of thousand dollars, but even on the low end of a return, I should be able to get this back. Plus they offer a 30-day money back guarantee.

If not this one, does anyone have any suggestions for better courses?

I went to one where it was one day for $60.00, I plan to take his commercial real estate investing course. I work closely with some people who work closely with Legrand, they were the people who got me the one day course for 60.00. The only thing I can say is that you know at least that he is legit meaning this is not some company marketing someone elses stuff, it is all things that he uses or has used & works. I think it would definitely be worth it. Take action.

In Singapore, do many companies offer graduate training programs?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 1 Comment

If they do, what time of the year do graduates usually apply for these jobs? Any advice would be great, Thanks!

In what discipline? What do you mean by a Graduate Training Program?

Given the lack of information in your question, I assume you are a recent graduate that wants to put your academics into the real world. My only suggestion is you apply for an intern position for a company related to your field of study. That opportunity exists primarily in finance, but if you have exception grades in other fields you might find something.

If you want to carry on with the idea and will provide more details you may email me.

If it’s just for yourself I would recommend checking local community colleges or companies like New Horizons.

If there’s a group of you, we provide on-site MSP training anywhere in the country.

If possible I would try and find an "applied" course. Some courses simply step you through the product features without really explaining how/why you would use a particular feature.

If you’d like a book instead, I recommend Step-by-Step MSP

Too young for massauge training courses, how else can I learn?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 3 Comments

I want to be able to give my girlfriend good massauses but I’m afraid I don’t know how to do it right. I’ll be 17 in 5 months and you can’t train to be a masseuse until you are 18. I am interested in being a masseuse when I’m old enough but until then, are there any ways I can learn how to become better at giving massauges?

You can try some sites to learn how to massage

also try videojug.com its great to learn massaging

How can we promote and improve youth leadership in the Philippines?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 2 Comments

Just want to get your ideas and suggestions. This is for a research proposal that I plan to work on. It’ll be an assessment of the current Sangguniang Kabataan system, which will include, as part of the recommendations, a leadership training program for SK members. Hopefully, we can line this up as one of pilot programs of the Ateneo School of Government.

Leadership will always have to start from the top. If we want to improve youth leadership in the country, the senior government officials will need to play a big role in this leap because they are the ‘top’ leaders in society who are very visual to the public. They must set a good example and not work for personal interests. If people equate government with corruption, then how can we expect to have virtuous and capable leaders to enter government positions? However, there are indeed many competent and respectable youth leaders in our country. They may not always be involved in government operations but in other NGOs and social organizations. In my opinion, there just needs to be more awareness and recognition given to such individuals in order to inspire future generations of leaders to come.

Yoga training, Stress management Techniques for corporates, executive, in Mumbai India?

March 30, 2010 - 10:34 am 1 Comment

Can any one tell me where to find a good reputed Yoga training, Stress management Techniques for corporates, executives in Mumbai? I could locate one at www.supremeyoga.com and another at www.kartikvyas.com. Any more suggestions?

here in the US, connected to the high schools is a running track for stress relief. Also sports (watching or participating) relieves stress. Try also B vitamins, and enjoy some smooth music.

Runs or bicycle trips for executives could do two things at once (they could look good and so could their company). They could be paid (a donation to the cause) by people for every mile they ride or run and that money could be donated to someone in need (like to a children’s hospital or orphanage).
