Can anyone tell me the names of SAP HR training centres in Delhi?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 1 Comment

Can a person, working in a totally different field, expect an entry into the world of ERP (SAP ) , if he does his training in SAP ? Siemens is quite expensive and also, it doesn’t guarantee a job..Does a training from Siemens help in getting the required certification from SAP ( the exam that one has to pass in order to become a valid SAP consultant) What to do in this case? What about the referrals?

How can I get into corporate computer training as a consultant?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 1 Comment

I love to train people and computers are what I’m best at. A small part of my job now is to do software training internally and I love it. I’ve done everything from one-on-one training to an all day seminar in front of 30 people. I think it’s what I want to do as a career. How do I get started on the right path?

I would create a one page flyer showing the work you’ve done and just go around to different companies in your neighborhood and drop them off. Also call up different consulting companies and see if they have any leads. You never know.

What’s it in for these people selling seminars & self training course?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 5 Comments

from time to time i see people selling forex trading course, stock market trading course, business strategy managemnet course etc. are these useful. whats in for them, why would one sell his butter and bread to others and compete with them. please justify sincerely

Profits. It,s more lucrative selling the plan than following it.

I would love to start training for a marathon but where do I start? Where are beginners training programs?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 5 Comments

I live in Los Angeles and want to run a marthon without having to raise money. So where can I sign up for a beginners training program?

It will be pretty hard to jump right into training for a marathon, but if you already have a couple of road races under your belt I would say go for it.

Find a couple of 10km races in your area, that sets a good base. And obviously being persistent with your training, like training 5 or 6 times a week.

Are there any on-the-job training courses for student nurses in the UK?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 1 Comment

I am helping a friend ask about possible student nursing courses in the UK (possibly even the US or Australia, she’s not too fussy). She holds a nursing degree rom Taiwan but she wants to get a more internationally recognised degree (her current one is not recognised here). However, she cannot afford to go back to university. Are there any on-the-job training offered in the UK that ould lead to qualification for someone who has already qualified elsewhere? And is a non-EU citizen eligible for it?

Thanks.

Hi,
My sister is a Student Nurse in her final year. She gets a bursary while she is training think it’s about £400 per month. She also has put herself on to the NHS Bank Nurse team which boosts her income. She could try asking Teeside or Northumbria University about their on the job training. Also I know that BNA (British Nursing Agency) are always looking for qualified nurses and there maybe a chance of a permanent position within a care setting, their web address is: www.BNA.co.uk, hope this is a help.

How can I develop my own leadership training/consulting business?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 2 Comments

I am told I have the gift to gab and Im a natural motivator. I want to use my talent to help others succeed in the corporate environment or on a personal level like a coach. How do I find the information needed to do such a presentation to be marketable?

1. Look at what others in your field are doing. Then consider which strategies you will adapt to your own project.

create an outline for a small size class, or lecture, then get a group together and do your thing. …start small, get some clients under your belt who can give you testimonials.

Find someone in the field, make contact with them and see if they’ll share any wisdom with you

the Executive Leadership Group…perhaps one of the CEO’s there may correspond with you via email.

Is there a way I can get emergency management training?

December 28, 2009 - 7:46 am 1 Comment

I live in south jersey just outside of philadelphia. I am a college student and I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way I can get this training and from where? NJ’s EM is just for people in government and or private sectors. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

It depends on the sort of training you’re looking for and why. Is it something you’re just interested in, or are you interested in it as a career.

However some good starting points are:

If your college is large enough it may have a person who looks after emergency management (or business continuity) for the college – they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Try talking with your the emergency manager for your municipality or county or get in touch with the Officer for Emergency Management for NJ. They could offer you some valuable advice.

There are many volunteer organisations who are involved in emergency management (like the Red Cross), the might be able to offer you some training, and practical experience, which is a good idea if you’re interested in emergency management as a career.

Finally there’s this website that FEMA’s put together which lists a whole bunch of emergency management programs from short courses to postgraduate degrees:
http://training.fema.gov/emiweb/edu/collegelist/

There are some online courses scattered about as well, if all you’re looking for is a basic introduction.
